Putnam County Fair Events on WCTE: July 30, August 3
WCTE continues its annual live broadcast from the Putnam County Fair with two nights of coverage: July 30 and August 3. On Thursday, July 30, from 8-10 p.m. CDT, WCTE will broadcast the Fairest of the Fair pageant. This segment will be hosted by WCTE’s Lee Wray and Merle Norman/Beauty Queens Boutique of Cookeville owner Cynthia Strong. Then, viewers can catch the Putnam County Horse Show, hosted by WCTE’s Celeste Flatt Bennett, on Monday, August 3, from 8-10 p.m.
“Folks who are unable to attend the Putnam County Fair are grateful that WCTE brings this event into their homes,” says Desiree Duncan, WCTE’s Director of Content. “We have heard this message from many of our viewers, and we’re proud to provide fair coverage to our Upper Cumberland community.”
