Season 8 of WCTE’s original series, Live Green Tennessee, premieres Monday,July 27th at 7 p.m. CST on WCTE Upper Cumberland PBS. Live Green Tennessee takes viewers across the state to learn what it truly means to live a ‘greener’ lifestyle. Each show will cover topics ranging from sustainable agriculture and businesses to managing ‘green’ restaurants and sourcing products locally. Viewers will learn about the benefits of living green and how Tennesseans are making the move to eating fresh, living sustainably, and doing their part to keep our state a healthy, happy place to be.
The premiere episode features The Post East, an organic coffee, bakery, smoothie and juice bar in East Nashville; the touching story of Dudley the Cow and The Gentle Barn animal sanctuary in Knoxville; and the family-owned Wedge Oak Farm in Lebanon Tennessee. “With each passing season of Live Green Tennessee, it blows my mind how many incredible stories of farmers and green businesses there are still to tell.
