Vol State Upper Cumberland Listening Sessions for the Public

Volunteer State Community College is planning for the future and college leaders want to hear from the public. Vol State is working on the initial stages of Strategic Planning for 2015-2025. The college has a series of Listening Sessions coming up soon to get input from the community. The questions asked of the public will include: What does Vol State do well? What can Vol State do better? And, what should Vol State be doing in the future? These discussions will include ideas on strengthening college relationships with K-12 education and how to expand the Vol State commitment to business and workforce development. The ideas generated from the discussions will help to set the agenda for the next ten years. The sessions will be informal and provide plenty of opportunity for conversation. Participants are asked to come with ideas to share.

A Cookeville Listening Session will be held on September 10 at 7:30 a.m. at the Cookeville Higher Education Campus at 1000 Neal Street. A Livingston Listening Session will be held on September 24 at 1 p.m. on the Livingston Campus at 113 Windle Community Road. There is no RSVP required and people are welcome to tell friends and colleagues about the opportunity.
