Synergy Yoga and Meditation Classes to Benefit Art Round Tennessee and the 2015 ART Prowl

Synergy Mind & Body Studio will hold Community Classes on Sunday, October 4, with all proceeds going to Art Round Tennessee (ART).  On Synergy’s monthly Community Day, class attendees pay what they can, with 100% of the proceeds going to a specified charity.  On October 4, Registered Yoga Teacher Dawn Thierry will teach Community Yoga at 2:00 p.m.  Petti Groth, Certified Meditation Teacher, will teach a Meditation class at 3:15 p.m.  Synergy community classes are open to the public and are completely donation-based.

ART is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and expanding the arts in the Upper Cumberland community.  Their flagship event is the popular two-day ART Prowl tour of art studios and pop-up galleries, which will take place November 13-14 this year.  In addition, ART facilitates art workshops for the public and professional development for local artists.  Marilee Hall, ART Executive Director, shared, “Art enriches the community—we deeply believe that.  We encourage and support creative self-expression, starting with our artists and reaching out into the community to creative minds of all ages.”

Synergy will open its doors for the second year as an ART Prowl pop-up gallery, exhibiting work by the Cookeville High School Emerging Artists.  For more information on ART Prowl 2015, visit ArtProwl.com.  Synergy is located at 139 E. Broad St. in Cookeville.  For more information, visit SynergyMindBody.com
