Community Health Fair Saturday,

Cookeville, Tenn. – Cookeville Regional Medical Center will be hosting its quarterly Health Fair on Saturday, October 10 from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. The Health Fair is open to the public and provides an opportunity for community members to participate in affordable health screenings to stay abreast of their health.

Numerous affordable screenings available at the Health Fair include:

 Cholesterol and Lipid Profile

 Vitamin D Level

 Bone Density

 Prostate Specific Antigen

 Complete Blood Count

 Complete Chemistry Profile

 Thyroid Profile

 Hemoglobin A1C

 Blood Type

 Pulmonary Function Test

 Testosterone Level

Fasting is recommended for 12 hours before either the Complete Chemistry Profile or Lipid Profile is drawn.

Blood is drawn only once even if you have all lab studies done.

Ultrasound Vascular Screenings:

 Carotid Artery Screening

 Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening

The health fair will be held in the hospital’s Education Center located inside the East entrance of the hospital beside the Emergency Room. Registration is required to attend.
