Search Warrant Leads To Drug Arrests At Cookeville Home

PUTNAM COUNTY, TN – On August 24, 2016, the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, Cookeville Police Department, and 13 th Judicial Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 853 Holladay Road in Cookeville, TN.

Officers arrested 43-year old Roger Horne and his fiancée 46-year old Marian Bullock. Both were arrested and charged with Sell and Delivery of a Schedule II Drug that included several illegal narcotics such as methamphetamine and cocaine, and other assorted Schedule II prescription medications.

The search warrant is an accumulation of months of responding to citizen complaints, investigation, and intelligence collection conducted by the Putnam County Narcotics Division. Agents received complaints of a large volume of traffic in and out of the residence at all hours both day and night. The agents subsequently conducted surveillance that resulted in obtaining information necessary to obtain a search warrant.

Horne is a convicted felon and has a criminal history involving other drug violations. A handgun was discovered in the residence during the search. Horne was also charged with Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Horne bond has been set at $20,000. Bullock has since posted a $10,000 bond. Both have a General Sessions Court date on 09/26/16.

The investigation is ongoing. Sheriff Farris stated that he and the good citizens of Putnam County will not
tolerate drug dealers and their illegal activities in our community. That we will continue to work together to drive those people out of our town so that Putnam County continues to be a great place to live, work, and to raise our children.
