MADD Candlelight Vigil of Remembrance and Hope

On Sunday, November 20, 2016, MADD Upper Cumberland and the 13th Judicial District Attorney General’s Office will hold their 24th annual Candlelight Vigil of Remembrance and Hope. The program will be held at First Christian Church, located at 780 Fairground Street in Cookeville TN and is scheduled to begin at 3:00pm CST.
This is an event for victims of impaired driving crashes and the families of murder victims. These families will gather to pay tribute to lives changed or lost in sudden tragic circumstances.
Participants are urged to bring a framed photo of their loved one to be displayed during the program.
MADD National President Colleen Sheehey-Church will be joining is for this year’s event.
The Vigil is open to all of the community and we urge any law enforcement and/or emergency medical personnel that are able to attend to come in uniform.
