Visitors and guest were welcomed by Mr. Greg Wilson, UHS Assistant Principal.
After a moment of silence, the UHS JROTC presented the colors followed with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Madison Penland, UHS Student Council.
The “National Anthem” was performed by the UHS Chorus directed by Ms. Chelsey Poole.
History of Veteran’s Day was given by special guest, SSG Justin Birdwell with the UHS Band of Gold, directed by Kyle Netherton playing the “National Emblem” march.
Importance of Veteran’s Day was given by Ret. LTC Jack Pirrie.
