World Renowned Motivational Speaker and Traveler to Speak at WCTE’s Annual Dinner

Renowned motivational speaker, Steve Donahue will share his wisdom at WCTE’s Annual Dinner Thursday, March 23 at the Leslie Town Centre in Cookeville. Donahue survived a dangerous trek through the Sahara Desert and has since shared his story with over 600 organizations including Pepsi, American Express and Ford. His best-selling book, Shifting Sands, chronicles his journey and teaches lessons that can be applied to every-day life.
“We are so excited to be bringing a speaker of this magnitude to our
community,” says WCTE’s Special Events Coordinator, Jodi Pitts. “Steve is a world traveler with a story that’s compelling, heartfelt and inspirational. I myself can’t wait to hear what he has to say about crossing the Sahara Desert!”
WCTE’s annual dinner will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets are $40 per person or $500 to reserve a table of eight. Attendees can also purchase tickets at the door for $50 while seating is available. To purchase tickets or learn more visit
