Putnam County Habitat for Humanity Hosts Their Annual Dream Builder’s Luncheon

Cookeville, TN—Putnam County Habitat for Humanity invites the community to hear the message of their ministry.

Leslie Town Centre is the location of Putnam County Habitat for Humanity’s Dream Builders Luncheon. The lunch will take place on Tuesday April 25, 2017 at noon.

“Providing a look into what is happening right in the heart of Cookeville is the goal of this annual luncheon.” Said Melissa Parks PCHFH development director. “We will have a panel of speakers including homeowners, volunteers and Habitat family members, who will answer questions and talk about how Habitat has impacted their life.”

The annual event is an important fundraiser for Habitat. All funds raised will help PCHFH provide affordable housing to those in need of affordable housing here in Putnam County. PCHFH is currently building at West End Place, a proposed 52 home subdivision in the heart of Cookeville. Building on the foundation of last year’s event, this year’s Dream Builder Luncheon will highlight all the progress made over the past 12 months.

It’s an opportunity to hear directly from those impacted by the ministry,” Pam Ealey, PCHFH executive director said. “Providing affordable homeownership makes an impact not just on the families but on our community. This luncheon helps show our neighbors that they can be a part of change and make an impact in our community.”

This event is being sponsored by EXIT Rocky Top Realty. Donnita Hill and Catherine Cates, brokers with EXIT, understand the importance of a stable home to help build families and community.

Lunch will be provided at the event by Outback Steakhouse. The lunch is open to any members of the community who would like to learn more about the ministry of PCHFH.
