The City of Cookeville Department of Leisure Services’ Third Thursday Concerts open May 18 with the Tennessee Backroads Band at 7:30 p.m. at the Dogwood Performance Pavilion in Dogwood Park, 30 E. Broad St., Cookeville. More concerts are planned for June 15, July 20 and Aug. 17. All are free. A different band is featured each month, covering a variety of music genres.
