Cummins Falls Rescue Photos

When the water is flowing over the falls, like it is in the picture, we hear that rushing sound and it  hitting the rocks below. Such soothing and relaxing atmosphere.

Although it is a beautiful nature scene it can change in minutes! Leaving visitors trapped. When the water moves from the falls in this manner DON’T GO IN!

Always check with Park Rangers to see if the park is open and swimming is allowed.

These pictures show the rescue efforts of many men and women who worked diligently to help all who were in the waters this week when the sound of rushing water came and they found themselves in a dangerous situation.

Photos courtesy of the brave men and women who helped in the rescue efforts. The following is a list of contributors but not limited too. Landon Davidson, Landon Bathke, Jackson County Rescue, Putnam County E911 and many more.
