BE BOLD, BE FEARLESS, BE MORE Race for the Cure Upper Cumberland September 9, 2017

Synergy with Komen was positive in every way. Yoga is a worthwhile practice and several women recovering from breast cancer have used Synergy Cookeville to gain mindfulness, strength, and balance on their personal journey.
Every first Sunday Synergy Cookeville offers a Community Yoga Class and chooses a non profit to receive the class participant’s donations.  Komen Central TN Upper Cumberland Region was honored to be their chosen recipient for August.  We were able to talk about the history of Susan G. Komen, the Upper Cumberland and Central TN merger, the Sept 9 Race for the Cure, villaged next door to Synergy, and the impact from every dollar raised.
This group of women warriors are fierce.  I gained even more respect for the friends in the class, my wellness journey, and yoga as a effective practice for growth.  What a beautiful, peaceful way to celebrate life.  For the last decade the studio has a passion for helping people chart their personal paths to wellness by teaching mindfulness, focus and precision.  Yoga helps many heal from the inside out.  On Fridays at 9:30 there is a Gentle Flow Yoga for those who are beginning, recovering from illness or anyone who desires a kinder, gentler, mindful yoga practice.  Synergy Cookeville can be found at www.synergymindbody.com
