Cookeville Community Band presenting free holiday concert at CPAC

 

COOKEVILLE – The Cookeville Community Band will be celebrating “Christmas Around the World” with a free holiday concert Sunday, November 26, at the Cookeville Performing Arts Center.

 

The annual concert, open to the public, begins at 3 p.m. at 10 E. Broad St.

 

“We look forward to hosting this concert every year at CPAC,” Chad McDonald, Cookeville Leisure Services cultural arts superintendent, said. “It’s a wonderful start to the holiday season of performances for us.”

 

Musical selections include “Carol of the Bells,” “A Norwegian Christmas Overture,” “A Spanish Christmas Carol Suite,” “Gesu Bambino,” “O Tannenbaum,” “Stille, Stille, Stille,” “Patapan,” “Feliz Navidad,” “C’est Noel,” “Huron Carol,” “White Christmas,” “Go Tell it on the Mountain,” “Sleigh Ride” and “A Christmas Festival.”

Cookeville High School Band Director David Talbert will conduct the program.
