On December 1, 2017, wildlife ecologist Dr. Steven Hayslette from
Tennessee Tech University brought an interesting assortment of animals
to Cornerstone Elementary. Third graders had the opportunity to get
an up close view of several animals they have been learning about in
the classroom. Pictured in back are Joey Overpeck and Nick Johnson,
while Alissa Smith and Priscila Montejo-Torres (l to r front) get
close to a milk snake.Dr. Hayslette’s presentation was a great way to wrap up the study of
animal classification. Skyler Dunaway, Kaitlyn Dobbs, JP Scott and
