COOKEVILLE – Know your Tennessee Tech University history?

If so, take a “hike” this Saturday between the Cookeville History and Depot museums during Cookeville Leisure Services’ first History Hike of the year.

“For TTU Alumni Weekend, we’re wondering how much you know, or remember, about those great, nostalgic WestSide hangouts,” Ashley McKee, museums education specialist, said.

History Hikes are held on the second Saturday of each month, April through August and in October. They are free, fun and family-friendly.

“This is self-guided activity,” McKee said. “Drop by either museum between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. and join the fun answering trivia questions along Broad Street with help from the West Side History Walk signs.”

Completed entry forms are due back by 3:30 p.m. to be entered in a prize drawing.

Refreshments will be served.

For more information, call the Cookeville History Museum at 931-520-5455 or Cookeville Depot Museum at 931-528-8570.
