Monterey Man Arrested For Multiple Break-Ins

MONTEREY, T.N., — Monterey Police arrested a subject who allegedly confessed to burglarizing several residences in the Monterey area.

According to reports,  Richard Lee Leming, 54, of Monterey was taken into custody on April 13th in regards to counts of aggravated burglary. In an interview with Leming, the reports state that he admitted to burglarizing a home and outbuilding of a residence on Hickory Avenue in Monterey.

Allegedly, during that interview, Leming also admitted that he also burglarized residences at Ford Street, Peter Avenue, and Cleveland Avenue. All of these residences are located in Monterey, TN.

Leming’s bond total bond is set at $20,000 and he is charged with two counts of Theft of Property and one count of Aggravated Burglary.
