UCHRA would like to invite anyone 55 years or older who meets the eligibility guidelines to be
a part of our Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP). This program provides
on-the- job training for older individuals seeking gainful employment in the Upper Cumberland
region. This training is twenty hours per week at the current minimum wage with government
and non-profit agencies. They provide assessment and testing services to determine your present
skill level and for the types of occupations you would like to train. They conduct meetings to
teach people the best methods for finding, applying, interviewing, getting, and keeping the right
job. They can also refer you to the American Job Center for basic computer training as well as
other employment and training programs. If you have any questions or would like to see if you
