A Win is a Win !!
Cavaliers get a little revenge by defeating Walker Valley 7 – 5 in first round of region play. The Mustangs ended CHS’s season last year.
Joshua South picked up the win going 7 innings, giving up 5 hits, 1 earned run and had 11 strick outs.
Timely hitting after costly errors by the WVHS defense was the difference in the game.
Ben Baugh picked up a big 2 run single after 2 errors loaded the bases for the Cavs. South contributed to the cause with 3 RBI’s and Cade Smith had 2 hits.
Next up for CHS on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, will be Bradley Central a 2 – 1 winner over Warren County.
