PUTNAM COUNTY, TN – June 07, 2018, yesterday morning another suspect in the Elmore Town
Road armed robbery, Demario Sumlar, was located and taken into custody by Putnam County Sheriff’s
Office Deputies. Sumlar was arrested after a Deputy spotted him walking down Jefferson Avenue.
Demario Sumlar has been charged with aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, and a general
sessions capias. His bond is set at $175,000.
