You could see the determination in their eyes as each player approached their shots on the first day of the season.
CHS Boys tallied a score of 302 to down WCHS who scored 335. Jared Funderburk Individual Boys Winner shot a blistering 72 while Will Dycus chipped in a 75 along with Seth Clayton 77; Bryce Turnbow and Luke Caldwell firing 78. Leading WCHS was Glass with a 75.
In girls action, WCHS finished with a score of 161 falling behind to CHS girls scoring 154.
Individual Girl winner McKenzie Morton left the rest of the field behind shooting 71 leading CHS was Ashlynn Fajt with a 77. Other CHS girls scoring Hope Homar 84 and Savannah Pearson 90.
