The Transportation Committee’s survey ended on June 30th. We have 1,254 people who completed the survey. The breakdown of where they live are as follows:
Algood – 5%
Baxter – 7%
Cookeville – 48%
Monterey – 3%
Putnam County – 30% (don’t live inside any city, but out in the county)
Outside of Putnam County – 7%
I am very pleased with the number of responses. My goal was 1,000 and we exceeded that.
Over the next 2-3 weeks we will be analyzing the responses and the data from the survey. I will then schedule another meeting of the Transportation Committee to review the compiled data.
