WATER BOTTLE FILLING STATION RIBBON-CUTTING AT CORDELL HULL BIRTHPLACE STATE PARK ON JULY 24
BYRDSTOWN – On Tuesday, July 24, the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) and local partner Pickett Strong will celebrate a new water bottle filling station at Cordell Hull Birthplace State Park.
The filling station is located at the Bunkum Cave Trailhead. It was funded in part by a Healthier Tennessee Communities Small Start grant awarded to Pickett Strong, a local group that promotes healthy activities.
After the event, Rangers will lead a guided two-mile hike of the Bunkum Cave Loop.
