Cookeville Man Arrested For Having Drugs On School Campus

COOKEVILLE, T.N. — Cookeville Police arrested a man who they say had several controlled substances on a local high school campus.

 

On August 8th, an officer from Cookeville Police Department was patrolling the area of Cookeville High School. A man walking across the parking lot caught the officer’s attention and the officer preceded to stop the man.

 

According to the warrant, Raybon Bilbrey, 48, was making his way through the school parking lot with a black backpack on. The officer says he searched the backpack and found a large zip up bag that contained several plastic baggies. Allegedly, the smaller baggies contained both Meth and Heroin.

 

Bilbrey was taken into custody on two charges of Manufacturing/Delivery/Sell of a Controlled Substance. His total bond is set at $50,000.

 

All parties are innocent until proven guilty.
