Upperman Football! Putnam County Rivalry! New Coach Caine and his staff put an exclamation point on their
debut game vs the 6A Cavaliers from Cookeville High School.
First half was like an old fashion boxing match, sparring each other with the Bees taking a 9 – 7 lead into the locker room at halftime.
Second half was a completely different story! The Bees came out of the locker room buzzing to start the 3rd quarter and the combination of Blake Megtzgar, (24 carries 163 yards 2 TD), Donovan McAlliser (11 carries 30 years 6-11 passing 1 TD) and Cole Bush (3 catches 92 yards 1 TD) and a smothering defense. The Bees sting the Cavs 23 – 7 in their 2018 Season Opener.
