Three Women Indicted On Aggravated Rape Charges

PUTNAM COUNTY, TN — Three women in Putnam County have been indicted on the charge of allegedly raping another woman in December 2018.

 

According to the indictment report, Tia Fabri, Shelby Nunley and Brandy Reed were indicted on May 7th for the rape of another woman in December of last year.

 

All three women have been charged with two counts of Aggravated Rape. The counts on the indictment are as follows: “Count 1: The Grand Jurors of Putnam County, Tennessee, duly empanelled and sworn upon their oath present that TIA LEIGH FABRI, SHELBY CHEYENNE NUNLEY, and BRANDY NICHOLE REED heretofore on or about the 6th day of December, 2018, in Putnam County, Tennessee and before the finding of this indictment did unlawfully sexually penetrate, by force or coercion, [the victim], while aided and abetted by one (1) or more other persons…

 

Count 2: The Grand Jurors of Putnam County, Tennessee, duly empanelled and sworn upon their oath present that TIA LEIGH FABRI, SHELBY CHEYENNE NUNLEY, and BRANDY NICHOLE REED heretofore on or about the 6th day of December, 2018, in Putnam County, Tennessee and before the finding of this indictment did unlawfully sexually penetrate, by force or coercion, [the victim], while aided and abetted by one (1) or more other persons and TIA LEIGH FABRI, SHELBY CHEYENNE NUNLEY, and BRANDY NICHOLE REED knew, or had reason to know, at the time of the penetration, that the victim did not consent…”

 

Two of the three suspects were in the Putnam County Jail at the time the indictment was released.
