Hey, Parents!! a Ready to Learn parent tip:

Exposure to other cultures brings meaning to a child’s life.  Books open children’s eyes, but actual experiences have the most profound influence on what children think and believe.  Attend events or festivals that celebrate different cultures, which can expose your child to new holidays, music, food, games, or other special traditions.
Check out WCTE’s Stations of Imagination at Fall FunFest on September 12.  In addition to all the fun activities, the Latin Jimmy Bonilla band* will take the main stage at 2 p.m., featuring high-energy music, salsa-style!

WCTE Stations of Imagination is free and open to the public, taking place on the Cookeville Square.
