Friday morning Algood Police Officers Megan Watson and Dana Looper spoke to Algood Christian Elementary School on hero day (a day in the life of a police officer).
Chief Gary Harris PIO Dana Looper were presented a cake from Cash Express on behalf of the Algood Police Department. Algood Firemen David Judd and Gene Brown accepted a cake as well from Cash Express thanking them for their service, especially on the anniversary of 9/11.
Cash Express gave cakes to all local emergency services and handwritten thank you posters.
