AMS cheerleaders attended a very successful summer camp at the TTU UCA cheer camp in June. They swept all awards, beating out all other middle schools, high school freshman, and junior varsity teams at camp and winning Camp Champs in Cheer, Camp Champs in Game Day, and Camp Champs in Extreme Routine. They also received a Superior Trophy for having all blue ribbons in all evaluations throughout the week. Individuals recognized as All-American cheerleaders by UCA included Captain Ashley Hayes, Co-captain Demi Maniscalco, and 8th grader Kennidy McClain. Sixth grader Sara Beth Galyean was pinned by camp staff as an exemplary cheerleader, also.
