Highland Rim Academy Names Interim Headmaster

New Interim Headmaster

Highland Rim Academy, a classical Christian school in Cookeville, recently named Nick Duncan as its new Interim Headmaster for the 2015-2016 school year. Mr. Duncan has been a teacher at HRA since 2012, and he has taught in both the Upper and Lower schools.
Originally from LaFollette, TN, Mr. Duncan earned his Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education from Tennessee Tech University. He remained in Cookeville and joined the staff at HRA after completing that degree.

During his tenure, he has served as a teacher, Housemaster, and Athletic Director. His most recent responsibilities as the Upper School Department Head have led to a natural transition in his appointment as Interim Headmaster.
“The staff at Highland Rim Academy has been given a tremendous calling by God to come alongside our families and educate their children,” stated Mr. Duncan. “I am both humbled and honored in accepting the responsibility to lead such an amazing staff in serving our families.”
Mr. Duncan makes his home in Cookeville, TN, with his wife Stacey, and they are expecting their first child. He also serves as the College Ministry leader at VineBranch Community Church.
Established in 2007, Highland Rim Academy is a K-12 classical Christian school. Enrollment for the 2015-2016 school year is still open.
