Employment Opportunities @ Hutchinson FTS in Livingston:

SAFETY ENGINEER – Eliminate or controls hazardous conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations that may lead to human injury and/or property damage.

Qualifications:

Four year engineering degree level of knowledge with a minimum of 1 year of safety engineering experience.  Working knowledge in metal fabrication, machining, forming, tube bending and brazing.  High mechanical aptitude and problem solving.

QUALITY ENGINEER – Plan and execute activities that will ensure customer satisfaction and promote efficient manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree level of knowledge in a related discipline.   Knowledge of manufacturing operations within an automotive or automotive related industry, with demonstrable professional skills in organizing, analyzing problems, improvement planning and communications.  Direct experience in meeting the requirements of automotive manufacturing components and a good knowledge of blow molding, metal fabrication, machining and forming manufacturing operations,  a plus.

QUALITY SYSTEMS ENGINEER – Plans and executes quality management systems activities to ensure compliance to the technical standard for continual improvement, emphasizing defect prevention and the reduction of variation and waste in the supply chain.

Qualifications:  Bachelor’s degree level of knowledge in a related discipline.    In-depth knowledge of TS 16949 Standards.  Knowledge of manufacturing operations within an automotive or automotive related industry, with demonstrable professional skills in organizing, analyzing problems, improvement planning and communications.   Lead or internal auditor certification.

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER – Provides manufacturing engineering expertise to operating plants which supports on-time product launches and quality shipments.

Qualifications:   Four year engineering degree level of knowledge with a minimum of 4 years related experience in metal fabrication, machining and forming.  Specialized training in computer skills, time management and cohesive team building.  Working knowledge of J.I.T. manufacturing, cellurized manufacturing, FMEA, process flow diagram, ANSI Y-14.5, Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing, tube bending and brazing.  High mechanical aptitude and problem solving.

Quality Manager

Plans, develops, directs and supervises Quality Assurance programs, procedures, and personnel to maintain and improve product quality as perceived by customers.  Provides leadership and guidance in implementing effective quality systems and in reducing quality costs at respective manufacturing location.  Defines the overall scope of the Quality function.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

·         Bachelor’s degree level of knowledge in a related discipline, plus 8 years of direct quality assurance experience.

·         Knowledge of manufacturing operations within an automotive or automotive related industry.

·         Demonstrable managerial skills in organizing, analyzing, planning and communications.

·         Direct experience in meeting the requirements of  customer specific quality procedures.  Must possess thorough knowledge of manufacturing operations plus “hands-on” skills in management, analysis, communication and planning.
