I am very lucky to come to work every day and love my job. Today was extra special! I got to deliver a Chrombook cart from the VITAL office to a deserving teacher at Cornerstone Elementary and it was AWESOME to see the smile it put on her face. In the picture attached you can see just how happy she was to receive the opportunity to move her classroom to 1 to 1 personalized learning. Mrs. Becky White was one of our original applicants to our chromebook technology offering in 2015-16. We were happy to make her request for her students come true!
Congratulations to Mrs. White and her class. I can’t wait to see the difference this technology will make with students when used the right way. Below is a snippet from Cornerstone Elementary Principal, Mrs. Tammy Hoover about teacher, Becky White:
Becky White is a third grade Math and Social Studies teacher this year at our school. Some of the things she implemented last year involving 1 to 1 technology included, but limited to: Google Classroom, Google Docs, Google Forms, Screen Castify, Kahoot, Quizizz, XtraMath, iReady, and she taught video lessons for her kids to use as tutorials, as well as, when she was absent from school. She is always eager to learn new things that will enhance student learning within her classroom.
VITAL congratulates Mrs. Becky White on moving her students to truly personalized learning in the classroom!
