Veterans were honored by Algood Middle School.
Each grade level participated in the ceremony. AMS Preschoolers sang “It’s a Grand Old Flag.”
7th Graders told of the History of the Pledge of Allegiance; 8th Graders recited the Preamble to the Constitution.
5th Grade, along with Mr. Don Prince, sang “God Bless the USA.” 6th Grade students demonstrated the Folding of the Flag.
AMS Band, CHS JROTC, AMS Student Goverment, Boy Scouts and Special Guest Master Gunnery Sergeant Jason B. Cawthon also took part in the program.
