Cornerstone Elementary Presents Wax Museum

Wax Museum picture: Mrs. Jeni Lackey’s 4th grade Social Studies
classes from Cornerstone Elementary recently shared their knowledge
about the American Revolution with the student body through a Wax
Museum. Each student chose a historical figure from the time period
of the American Revolution and reported on their peron’s childhood,
education, role in the American Revolution, and accomplishments in
their lifetime. Pictured from left to right, Bella Pitman as Nathan

Fire Safety picture: Students at Cornerstone Elementary recently
learned about fire safety through their guidance classes with School
Counselor, Lonna Smith. Students were given an opportunity to
participate in fire safety stations – which included how to call 911,
a fire safety jeopardy game, and how to “get low and go.” Top to

Fire Truck picture: Under the direction of Baxter Fire Chief, Matt
White, students were also able to learn about the many facets of a
fire truck with fireman, Shawn Hotsinpiller. Pictured with Baxter
City’s newest fire engine are 4th grade students Korbin Rodgers, Mary
Katherine Koffas, Noah Trisdale, Hunter Nevins, and Reaghan Taylor.
