The Sheriff’s Department hosted a great event at Jackson County High School for the community. There were activities for young people, free food and drinks. But most importantly were the demonstrations and special guest representing the different agencies that help save and protect the citizens of Jackson County.
Smokie the Bear from the Forestry Department, Ollie Otter from TWRA Boating and Water Safety and Larry and Vince Crash Dummies, Tennessee Park Rangers, Vanderbilt Life Flight, National Weather Service, UT Extension 4-H and Summer Activities, Imagination Library, Jackson County Rescue Squad, Jackson County Fire Department and the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.
