CHS Annual Early Bird Golf Tournament

Golden Eagle Golf Course High School Golf

Teams from Coffee County, Cumberland County, Bradley Central, White County, Livingston Academy, DeKalb County, Rhea County, McMinn County, Walker Valley Tullahoma, Stone Memorial, Upperman High and Cleveland converged on the Golden Eagle Golf Course to battle for the tournament championship.

Individual Medalist Boys – Isaac Walker from DeKalb County – 68

Individual Medalist Girls –  Hannah Nall from Cleveland – 74

Team Champion Boys – Cookeville – 295

Team Champion Girls – Cleveland – 161

CHS Boys captured the title shooting 295 to edge out Coffee County and Tullahoma with both teams scoring a 302

Leading CHS was Jared Funderburk 71; Luck Caldwell 73; Will Ducus 74, Ethan Vanstratruan 77 and Seth Clayton 80.

In girls action, Cleveland gets past CHS with a 161 to take the title.  Leading the Lady Cavs was Savannah Pearson 84 and Hope Homer also carding an 84 as CHS comes in second with a 168.
