Indecent Exposure Arrest Results in Drug Charges

Cookeville, TN – On August 8 th , 2018 at approximately 6:50 AM, two juvenile females reported that a black male exposed himself as they were waiting for the school bus. As the two females stood waiting on the bus, the man drove near the stop and motioned for one of the females to approached the car. As one of the females approached, the man exposed his genitalia. The man then left the area in a silver car.

Cookeville detectives conducted an investigation and identified the suspect as Terrance Durden. Arrest warrants were obtained on Durden charging him with Indecent Exposure.

On August 9 th , 2018 at approximately 1:00 AM, Cookeville Police Officers conducted a traffic stop on a silver Nissan Altima on South Jefferson Avenue near the Prescott South Middle School. Terrance Durden was the driver of the vehicle accompanied by Demarcus Weems as a passenger. Durden was arrested by our officers on the existing arrest warrant for Indecent Exposure. As a result of the arrest, officers found approximately one (1) pound of Crystal Methamphetamine “ICE”, ecstasy pills, a loaded handgun, and cash.
