Veteran coach, Wayne Lewis, comes up with the right combination of players helping lead the Lady Bees to historic levels by gaining a berth to the TSSAA state volleyball tournament for the first time in school history. These young athletes have forged the steppingstones and foundation to build a successful volleyball program . The Lady Bees overcame a nervous start in the first round of the tournament but composed themselves to overcome adversity as they rallied to defeat a very good Chester County team in sudden death. In round two tournament favored, Portland High School (41-7), swept the game 3-0.
Round three, unfortunately Camden High School stole the glass slipper downing UHS 3-1 ending their Cinderella season.
