Cookeville Man Found With Stolen Hurricane Relief Supplies

 

COOKEVILLE, TN — Many residents across the Upper Cumberland have been collecting items for the victims of Hurricane Florence. A local company who had been collecting items to take to Florida found several of their items missing.

 

Rush Towing one of the many good samaritans loading up to take supplies to the victims of Hurricane Florence had items taken from their trailer. The towing company had an enclosed trailer parked on E. 15th Street.

 

Kyle Geddings, 26, was found in possession of 18 bags of Folgers coffee that was claimed to have been taken from the Rush Towing trailer.

 

According to the warrants, Geddings admitted in an interview that he also stole a five-gallon gas can from a truck on Jere Whitson Road and a 5×8 trailer valued at $700 from Cinderella Drive.

 

Geddings was charged with two counts of Theft of Property and one count of Burglary. Total bond is set at $4,000.

 

Others arrested:

  • Lucas Boles, 20, of Gainesboro, was charged with Domestic Assault and Public Intoxication. Total bond was set at $1,000.
  • Victor Francisco, 30, of Monterey, was charged with D.U.I. Total bond was set at $750.
  • Desmond Pincheon, 23, of Cookeville, was charged with D.U.I. Total Bond was set at $1,000.
  • Bob Amonette of Cookeville, was charged with two counts of Domestic Assault . Total bond was set at $2,000.
  • Lyle Walters,42,of Silver Point, was charged with Public Intoxication. Total bond was set at $248.
  • Sherry Clark,59,of Cookeville, was charged with Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest. Bond was set at $748.
  • Linda Carey ,55, of Lancaster, was charged with Theft of Property. Total bond was set at $1,000
  • Amy Dryden, 39, of Hilham, was charged with Public Intoxication. Total bond was set at $248.
  • Dayjah Brown, 21, of Cookeville, was charged with Theft of Property. Total bond was set at $500.
  • Gilda Shapovalov, 45,of Cookeville, was charged with Domestic Assault. Total bond was set at $ 1,000.
