Cookeville Man Arrested In Fatal Hit And Run

As reported earlier, on Monday December 3, 2018 officers responded to a traffic crash on West
Broad Street that resulted in the death of 32-year-old motorcyclist Phillip Frady of Bloomington
Springs.

On Thursday December 6, 2018 63-year-old Harold Eugene Conley of Cookeville was arrested
and charged with leaving the scene of an accident (felony), driving on a revoked license, and
violation of financial responsibility compliance. He is being held on a $12,500.00 bond.
Officers and detectives worked around the clock until Mr. Conley and his vehicle were located.
Evidence at the scene, citizen provided information, and incriminating statements made by Mr.
Conley led to his arrest. Teamwork between citizens and police was a crucial element in solving
this crime.

This is a continuing investigation by the Traffic Enforcement Division and the Criminal
Investigation Division of the Cookeville Police Department. Any person having information
