Congratulations to a great athlete!
Now to the games — In girls action, the Lady Dragons from York Institute came out firing on all cylinders and made a game of it for 2 1/2 quarters, then freshman, Brooklyn Crouch stepped her game up a notch and started pouring in the points. When the final horn blew Croutch totaled 36 points with 21 of those coming from the charity line. Brooklyn was also selected as the Live-Stream UCReporter “Player of the Game.” Tori Brooks tossed in 15 as the Lady Bees dump the Lady Dragons 56 – 41.
In the boys game, the intensity was high as the Bees were wanting to avenge the double overtime loss to the Dragons earlier in the season. With a win UH would move into a three way tie for top seed in the district with Livingston Academy and York Institute.
The Bees used a balanced scoring attack to sting the Dragons 55 – 49 with Collin Gore leading the way with 17 points, Alex Rush totaled 13 and Jayden Kanipe tipped in 12.
