The Putnam County School System family and community are deeply saddened by the death of two Cookeville High School students last night, Friday, February 15, 2019. We grieve for the loss of these young lives. Our thoughts and prayers remain with the family, friends, students, staff and community members impacted by this tragic event.
Counseling will be available to students and staff during and after school between 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, and for as long as necessary to provide support for all in need in the days that lie ahead.
We are grateful in knowing that the Putnam County community will provide continued support, love, and prayers for all that are grieving during this very difficult time. We do ask that everyone respect the privacy of the families.
