Bees drop home opener to the Warriors from White County High School, 9-3.
Things were looking good for UHS as they scored in the first and third inning to take a lead of 2-0 going into the top of the of the 3rd. WCHS scored 3 runs to take the lead and never looked back; scoring 6 unanswered runs in the top of the 7th inning.
University of Tennessee signee Will Mabrey was impressive in his first start, going 3 2/3 innings, 1 hit and 7 K’s. Bush, Allison, Mabrey and Lee all had 1 hit on the offense.
