The Lady Cavs open the tournament facing off with Waverly. The Lady Tigers make a late inning comeback to top the Lady Cavs 5-3. Leading the Lady Cavs at the plate was Boyett picking up 2 hits.
In game 2, the Lady Cavs come alive and come out swinging the bats, collecting 5 timely hits to score 11 runs to top Beech Grove 11 – 3 in a time limit game. Turnbow’s grand slam was the big blow.
