Emergency Crews In Jackson County On Scene For Cave Rescue

JACKSON COUNTY, TN — Several crews from Jackson County and other surroundings areas are in the process of rescuing a diver who has been trapped in a cave.

Around 1 a.m. Wednesday morning, Emergency Services got a call that a diver who had been missing was trapped in a cave. Allegedly, the cave is located in the 2750 block of Flynn’s Creek Road in Gainesboro.

Emergency authorities from Jackson County and even Hamilton County are responding. Cave rescue crews from area of Arkansas and Florida are on the way to help with the situation.

Authorities are asking civilians to please find another route around the Flynn’s Creek Road due to heavy emergency traffic.
