The Lady Cavaliers used their bats to silence the Lady Tigers from DeKalb County. CHS could only muster up 2 hits by Ryleigh Boyett. Holly Smith pitched a 3 hitter but Cavs came up shortand drop a close one 3-2.
The Lady Cavs weren’t done yet and bounced back in their second game! Tackling Hoover Alabama 4-3 in a thriller of a game, scoring 3 runs in the 5th inning to take a 4-3 win! Holly Smith was the big batter of the game, knocking in 3 with bases clearing double. Morgan Radford stayed steady in the circle, giving up 5 hits and 3 runs with 5 Ks.
