The Upperman High Bees swept the District Double-Header at York, beating the Dragons 5-0 and 7-1.
In the opener, Will Mabrey, dominated on the hill, tossing a 2 hit shutout while striking out 13 batters. In the night cap, the Bees again rose to occasion with a strong performance from Stacy Allison in 3 innings with 2 hits, 1 run and 2 Ks. Scotty Bates tossed 4 innings with 0 hits, 0 runs and 6 Ks. UHS evened its record to 6-6 for the season with the wins.
