TN Rush Basketball Team Become State Champions

TN RUSH 6th and 7th Grade win the AAU Division 1 Southeastern (TN and AL) District/State Championships. The states of Alabama and Tennessee have combined their two AAU State Championships to form a Southeastern District Championship. This is one of the biggest AAU sanctioned tournaments in the country. Division 1 is the top tier of the teams in both these states. Below is a list of the teams that each Rush team defeated en route to their respective state championships.

The 6th grade team was the AAU State Runner up one year ago, and got revenge on the defending state champions from last year.
6th Grade will then be attending the AAU National Championship in Kings Island, Ohio at the end of June.
Both teams return to action this weekend in Louisville, Kentucky at The Classic, an NCAA sanctioned exposure event, where hundreds of college coaches and over 350 teams are expected to be in attendance.
