Putnam County Notable Arrests 5/24/19

Stephen Igou, 31, of Cookeville, TN, was charged with Reckless Endangerment, Violation of Seatbelt Law, Simple Possession/Casual Exchange, Evading Arrest and D.U.I. on or about 05/06/2019. According to the report, a passing motorist called law enforcement when they witnessed a an individual changing a tire with a liquor bottle beside him.

A deputy from the Putnam County Sheriff Department staged their emergency vehicle at Poplar Grove Road and witnessed the description of the vehicle that had come in with the reported call. The deputy witnessed the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed and traveling in the opposing lane. When the deputy began to follow the vehicle, after turning on their emergency lights, the vehicle accelerated. The vehicle left the roadway and collided with a tree.

The passenger in the vehicle was sent to the hospital with a broken leg.

Igou was identified as the driver and, allegedly, admitted to using marijuana and showed the deputy to a gram of marijuana that was in the driver’s door.

Igou’s total bond is set at $8,000.

William Ledbetter, 34, of Allons, TN, was charged with Theft of Property on or about 05/13/2019. Total bond is set at $2,000.

David Drennan, 28, of Cookeville, TN, was charged with D.U.I. on or about 5/24/2019. Total bond is set at $1,000.

Colleen Drennan, 26, of Cookeville, TN, was charged with Party to a Crime-moto Veh oper/ DUI allowance on or about 05/24/2019. Total bond is set at $750.

Tationia Johnson, 26, of Cookeville, TN, was charged with Domestic Assault on or about 5/23/2019. Total bond is set at $1,000.

Jennifer Stephens, 41, of Cookeville, TN, was charged with Domestic Assault on or about 05/23/2019. Total bond is set at $1,000.
