Lady Bees were buzzing as they opened play in the district tournament after several reschedules due to weather conditions. The game was moved to Watertown on Sunday. UHS jumped out to a 7 run lead in the first inning and never looked back in the 13 – 0 route of Watertown.
Reagan Hurst and Allie Jennings led the offense with 3 hits each, while Sidney Shoemake, Jaycee Sweeney and Bailea Colson each had 2 hits. Anna Gatlin hits a bomb!!! Hurst was strong in the circle tossing 4 innings striking out 12.
